Man, isn't THAT the truth!

When my wife closed her title insurance office, we had a bunch of old files that needed taken to the shredder guys. I didn't think I had THAT many boxes loaded up, and I was dragging ass all the way across town.

I thought the rear leafs would be better in the 3rd gens, nope.

 

Anytime someone can land a gig in just about any part of the outdoor recreation industry, it's a big bonus.

 

The people that bitch about a harsh ride or no power seats or bad radio should take a ride in my 85gmc plow truck.....

Are those the medium or heavy duty Dakars?

I'm still deciding between the two, I'm leaning pretty heavily toward the medium duty ones.

 

I didn’t see a choice when I got mine. Heavy duty. It likes heavy loads now.

 

I got the recall for mine but don’t feel like going thru the aggravation of trying to get a check from yota

 

It has a good chance of just going up from there. I've seen it with duners and dirt riders. When people are serious about having fun and are successful, inovative and dedicated it gets noticed.

 

The fine folks at Demello OR recommended the lighter ones for me. That's what they're running on their Tacoma that's in all their ads.

I don't typically carry much of a load unless we're off camping somewhere, bed's usually empty otherwise.

However a bike guy for Harley told me something that I was thinking myself.

Keep rpm’s low and torque low until it warms up.
Aluminum can heat up unevenly in a motor. So hot spots can develope.
The growth of the block, heads , etc can become uneven. Uneven torque on a head
Equals..............
So cold weather like this it always runs for at least ten min until the temp gauge starts to move and then easy on the loud pedal till warmed up.

I’ve done that with all my vehicles since I started working on them so having a old dude confirm my
Idea just makes sense.

Vitamin c etc spiked my sugars so high when I was first diagnosed it was off the scale.
I should have been in a coma or dead.
I drove no problem to the hospital..
I had just come back from the movies.I just had thrush on my tongue and went to the clinic
For medicine. Ended up in the er overnight...

 

Boy I wish I was 51 again.

I heard if a vehicle has fewer than 4 wheels a motorcycle endorsement is needed. Which would suck if you’re in a state that requires helmets. A Elio would make a good commuter car. Just don’t let your friends see you
