Heading in too many separate directions at one time. Having metal roof put on and loving the delays and reschedules. Getting the attic foamed and sealed off. Dreading next week because I have to head out to El Paso again for work. Taco needs a lot of maintenance. I could go on and on, but hey, Happy New Years everyone. Dude, I need to be at C&C.

 

Every breather relocate I've done on Taco's, I've followed the ABS wire up the the frame, then routed into the driver side storage bin. Good drainage in there and it's protected from the elements, and not as cramped as the gas fill compartment.

 

I was planning on doing that. Just got to find/buy the rest of the parts

 

Yes you do, oh and we are planning the trip on the 20th, more details to follow.

Hmmm.. i may go this route actually. I already have a bunch of wiring going through my drivers side storage box, so i wouldnt be losing any usable space. Thanks for the heads up man!

 

Can't do the trip. 28th wedding anniversary weekend! On another note, I had been planning to attend the Overland West Expo in May and had 3 others going and now my work is getting in the way of that! Dude, It's like I need a C&C day!

 

Yes definitely, we got some of the crew coming from atx this time around so ya got to make it.

 

I think the Car Show pics are on the Toshiba laptop, this is it dirty in the driveway right now. 4 months before Carol Shelby died I was lucky enough to get his signature on it. That being said I don't do any modifications to it that can't be easily reversed. BUT like Carol said he built his cars for people to drive and enjoy. This one has 80,000 miles on it and still runs like a SCALDED ASS'D APE. My grand daughter who's 13 thinks she's going to get it when I'm gone. I think I'll make her watch the movie "Gran Torino" here in a couple of years. LOL
