Not enough to have a build thread.

I may have tweaked a few things...
On a Tacoma the LCA/floor jack method is completely safe (just not idiot proof). The lower shock bolt remains until all tension is released, and by the time the absorber rod drops through the top hat there is no more tension. So for the entire time until all tension is released there is nowhere for the spring to go. Just release tension slowly and you are good.

I’ve done it twice now in my own garage, being a DIYer with minimal mechanical experience and I had no safety issues.

I was actually thinking of going to PC just so I could test my suspension changes in the dirt. So far on pavement it’s been great. The only time i’ve been to PC though I didn’t go into the open 4x4 area. Just how open is that area and how fast can you move through it? I’m not looking for anything specific really just curious.

Theres the race track, and lots of obstacles from mild to wild. A few mud pits as well.

Nice, sounds like I didn’t see some stuff last time that I could still have fun with. I had asked a guy at work about PC and got the impression there wouldn’t be much for a Prerunner to do, but I think now that he was just being a 4wd elitist.

I’m not interested in mud or obstacles really but the track sounds fun just to get around and get my wheels dirty.

It’s pretty conveniently located, and only $5 to get in.

I read PC and I think Pacific Crest Trail.

Which would be epic right now.

Watched some dumb asses in a diesel attempt to recover a jeep on the pyramid. Two dodge trucks linked while one winched and they yanked each other. Thats a great way to fuck your winch up. Was entertaining. Even my son called them stupid
