New to tacoworld

The wheels are 20x9 with a -12 offset. Power seems to be fine but I think the trans is having a hard time figuring out what gear to go into.... might have to get that tuned or something unless the truck learns on its own. Any advice on that would be greatly appreciated.

 

I went with the spacers but I will prob get the coilovers in the near future.

 

I’m running the ShiftSense Pro with 35/12.5/18s and it helps keep the transmission hunting down some, especially in town.

OV tune and/or gears are in the nearish future.

Thanks Deathray. I was nervous about the truck in the beginning but I knew it has potential ha.

 

I don’t want to have to change the gears but I have a feeling that I might. What is the shiftsense pro? Do you have a link for that?

This installs inline of the shifter and turns the manual mode “S” into an automatic. It basically commands shifts as if you were doing it yourself. The V2 contains 3 different shift maps.

 

I’d go with regear if this is a long term ownership, if you’re a drive it a couple years and get something newer guy I’d stay with stock gears. Keep those pics coming to, wouldn’t mind seeing yours as well MCDavis I used to follow your F150 on FTE

Man that’s awesome. I’ve been sniffing around here a few months now. Love the look of the Tacoma, I just don’t know if I’d be content with the smaller size and power difference. Sorry as well op. Is there a thread for lifted 3rd gens? If not you guys should start one.
