Ugh I hate this site...

I have $850 right now and I’m most likely buying my mustang 2 conversion crossmember for my Chevy https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Bolt-In-1947-54-Chevy-Pickup-Mustang-II-Crossmember,50961.html and using the left over money for the taco stuff. I may have to save a little longer. Also have to purchase the ecgs bushing too. Yep gotta keep saving.

 

Go longer so you run less preload. I'm a big fan on longer springs with a softer rate with and set with more down travel but I like low cog rigs. Nothing like building jeep TJ on 37s and having the top of the cage be an inch lower then a stock jeep on 31s.

We bought 2 I believe, so we can do the full spread. My wife found a list of how to make all of melting pots sauces as well, I'll see if she'll send me the link.

51 shortbed 3 window. One day it’ll have mustang 2 front suspension, 4 link rear with a small block and automatic.

I picked it up cheap.

 

I can push it. Takes a lot to engineer a car from nothing and make it work haha. Final assembly, motor work and electrical wiring

 

Just removing the factory I beam stuff. The new stuff is all bolt in. No welding required.

Need recommendation for rear leafs... Used 8 leaf Wheeler's or OME Dakkar? I have a camper shell and carry some tools for work so will probably get the AAL for the Dakars. Have about $600 to spend.

 

Have the OME dakkars with the extra leaf on my 1st gen. I carry about 300 lb of recovery gear/spare tire and 300 lbs of sand in the winter.
Been extremely happy with them.
