    TacomaWorld!!

trying to get some opinions on new lighting. Currently have a gen 3 2016 quicksand Tacoma, All lighting currently is stock, I do have @mesojdm ultimate LED side mirror lights, ready to install but am looking for some new LED's. I pretty much am set on the AuxBeam H11's for my low beam, and some Morimoto XB led's for my fog lights, my question is, will they work together? from my understanding the morimoto's have a shade of blue on the top cut off, so will that affect the H11's lighting??? Also, just looking for plug n' play options... hopefully will have the guts to do a BHLM to my headlights.

Your going to get better output running a high powered HID in your 3rd gen projectors than LED. Check out the GTR 55w HIDs.

Remember though, with most lighting products, you get what you pay for. Oh, and for some odd reason, and many products seem to put a higher priority on looking good than actual performance. I've seen some awesome packaging containing absolute junk.

Yes I'm floating a thread from almost a year ago.
I picked up a GTR gen2 HID kit with 55w ballasts. Pulled it from a motorcycle. Used very little so I thought about trying it in the truck, then heard it may wreck the projector bowls or something. Where else could I try it? Or is it better to toss it in the spare parts drawer for some other project?

Unsure what I was thinking or if it was a typo, but I would not use a 55w kit. 35w is still far higher output than LED, the 3000+ lumens is drastically brighter than stock. While the OEM projectors control glare, they do still have squirrel spotters to illuminate overhead signs, so there is some targeted light that breaks that horizon.
