anyone know why album artwork from your phone doesnt show up on the audio system? a few of them do but others dont or it shows a generic picture

 

I bought the front headrests earlier from another TW member....then about 5 mos later during which hurricane Harvey totaled my OR MGM....bought my OR QS Proseur.....and got the Clazzio’s.....and left those Pro’s’ on.

 

General question for all. The little change holder/cubbyhole on the left side of the steering wheel, does that just pull straight out????

 

The top quote has the info. Some people just pry it out. I removed the panel so I wouldn't break clips. He has it crossed out but you can still read it.

 

I removed this panel a few times. Using a nylon pry removal tool (cheap) online or at shop. I found the top right clip was the loosest, so I gingerly pried just below it on the side, about an inch down, and the panel was pretty easy to pull straight out. The coin shelf itself is mounted from behind with four screws, which makes mounting a three gang or smaller switch plate a no-drill option. Take your time with the project and it comes out great. This is mine when done...did not take a mid job pic.

Another MirrorTap post...

I was happy to find the parts I needed for this mod were available from Ram Mount:
$7 Diamond base
$8 Short arm
$17 Handlebar base

Remove the suction cups from the bracket on the radar detector and it matches well with the diamond base.
The handlebar base was a perfect fit with the arm of the mirror.


Despite many negative reviews, I found MirrorTap to work really well. The multiple taps they provided allowed me to choose a size that fit snugly. No chance of it rattling out of place. Pity about the price though, $40 is steep for a piece of wire that you have to throw away if the fuse blows. I was tempted to tap a power source in the overhead panel but the MirrorTap is such an easy and clean install.

I had an OME kit installed at our local offroad shop in GJCO.

I'm working on a project out of state currently, so a good friend picked up the truck. He said I may have gained 2-2.5" over stock w/ rear sitting "slightly" high. Also, mentioned the new leaf pack was pretty beefy.

He promptly took it for a dirt road drive saying it was definitely a firmer ride but with improved dampening compared to stock. He has a '16 TRDOR MT DDSB that has not been modified.

Good choice. I had mine on a simple pressure switch with the hood.. it failed. Ended up with a dead battery. Now its a simple switch for me as well.

 

I went with Amazon on this mod. I got the JDM ASTAR G1 and for the Fog lights I went with JDM ASTAR as well

 

The album has to be in the gracenote database on the truck to show up. Otherwise you just get track info from your phone or file. I usually see this with newer albums or more obscure artists.

 

He is burnt out on dope...

 

Dose anybody know the 4 part #'s for the offroad fender flares. Just gonna buy them new taking to long to find someone to trade with l.
