Just the dummy scoop. I've seen mods though, not sure how effective they are. Would not want to do anything to screw up my warranty or adversely effect how the truck runs.

Mmm ok, the mod would only help if you were supercharged or turbo for the added heat but I don't think either are available yet?

No, I was part of the design process when K&N looked in to making the scoop functional back in 05 and the end result was they decided not to do it because of having to deal with adverse weather conditions like sucking in water or sucking in snow

Well it IS functional in at least one way......

It gives the Sport owner a feeling of "superiority" over the Off Roaders...!! (most of them are closet scoop lovers).. hehe

Yeah, I've read quite a bit of research showing any positive air pressure in the airbox is a good thing, but that the negatives, like water ingestion aren't worth the risk. Although cars over the years and motorcycles of recent use ram air.

Thanks! I got them all from @HeadStrong Off-Road. The front are preloaded at the 4th clip setting, i believe at 1.55" setting and the rear is with the Headstrong 3 leaf AAL with the overload left in. Right now I'm just running P-Rated 265/75R16 Dynapro ATM, haven't really taken it off roading yet. The roads here in Guam are bad so i feel almost all the bumps with the preloaded springs. I have since ordered some OME888 springs and JBA UCA, will have them installed soon.

These wheels came in the mail recently so will pair them with a set of ST Maxx 285/70R17.

Nice lookin truck man! Is that vinyl or paint on the tailgate? I really like that look but I'm still not sure if I wanna go that route, or just fill in the letters. If paint, what kind of paint did you use? And did you do it yourself?

    Sorry for all the questions

Thanks for all the info! Appreciate it. It really looks like it's up there, like a 4" lift compared to how mine looks. I like it!

General question for all. The little change holder/cubbyhole on the left side of the steering wheel, does that just pull straight out????

Welcome to the forums! I was also planning to get a white Taco, but when I saw it in the high-noon sun, I was torn between the two colors. Once the family saw it later that week (also in the bright sun), they unanimously chose the Inferno! lol I rarely hear my kids agree on anything, so I was surprised they (and my wife) didn't hesitate!

Nope, I believe you have to pull that panel and it's screwed to the back. There's a thread on putting a switch plate in there, search for that.

Hmmm, one yes and one no.... guess I better go back and read some more.

ESP truck Accessories makes a panel to accommodate the Tekonsha controller.
