Just saw this, sorry :(. So to take them off I heated them with a hair dryer, then took some fishing line and put it between the truck qnd the badge and slide it up and down to cut away at the glue. You will have to do this a couple times on each badge. Then to paint I sprayedthem with adhesion promoter, 3 coats, then sprayed them with duplicolor, might have been krylon, plastic paint.

Ah, alright. What kind of mtn bike you looking at getting? I might sell mine if you were interested, I just dont use it enough. Its a 2008 Specialized fsr XC COMP med size frame. Full suspension(4" travel) w/lockouts, and hydraulic disk brakes etc. was $1500 new 2 yrs ago. I've probably rode the thing like 100 miles total over the last 2 yrs.

As for tires(looking for 265/70/17's, right?):

Hey relentless can't wait to rock the bumper you built. You should have a company! And then send me a sticker so I can give you credit for it on my truck.

:headbang: Sweet man, its gonna look BA on your truck! And I'm actually trying to start a Fab. business... I wanna make it my summer job. Right now i'm searching for a good deal on a tube bender for doing sliders, tube bumpers, and tube on top of the plate bumpers. I've been bidding on some on ebay, just gotta get the right deal. Stickers will definitely be in the works once the business gets goin. :)

Hey, sounds good man. I'm definitely buying one withing the next couple weeks. Sounds good about the tires, they looked to be a good deal so I figured it'd help ya out since new tires are so expensive.

I started running numbers, and after having them mounted and balanced and buying a spare, it actually will only be about $100-$150 cheaper than buying 5 new tires and mounted and balanced. So now I dont know  :(
