Thanks. Took a lot of trial and error to get to this point. I had a Hammeck Netty before that (it's now my daughter's). My son has a Netty as well. We all hammock camp.

I recently learned of the Hammeck Hammock Stand. I noticed that they had an angle built into the top of the legs, where it connects to the top bar.
The closest replacement is not angled, and changes the stand stability. Do-able, but not the same.

I use a Hennessy hyperlite in warmer weathers and have a big Agnes HV UL 2 for colder months.

LOL. Me, my brother in law and our buddy. We're all scout Masters in our son's troop and we Brew beer. 40 gallons every other month. IPA, DIPA, Pales, trippels, quads, scotch ales. Our scotch Ale is a monster. The DIPA & IPA needs some tuning. Just for fun, but we sent a couple bottles to the Newport competition

Continuing to prep, plan & organize for my 2 week remote DIY Alaska fly-fishing float trip in August.

So I like to have some juice (orange, grape, stuff like that with no added sugar). I'd like to bring along a powdered mix. I'm not finding much out there other than Tang & sports type mixes. Any suggestions?

Mostly truck camp now, so I've been able to bring along what I've wanted.

I started some research on 'dried' fruit juice and got side tracked. I did not go back to it.
Dried fruit, soaked in water may be a substitute.

Anybody gotten into dehydrating meals for backpacking trips? Hate the cost of freeze-dry and have watched some videos online of various hikers customizing their own meals, dehydrating, and simply adding back in water for some badass trail food

    Dehydrator.
Excalibur is a good one that I plan to get next. I currently have an American Harvest.
You can dehydrate a meal you like, or just about any combination.
    Look up Freezer bag cooking.
I use a Foodsaver daily. I have several and use them. I find them often at thrift shops for about 5 dollars.

Yes - but I can probably deal with that for the 2 weeks. Still looking around though.

I'm guessing anything in powdered version won't really be a "juice".

I started making my own dehydrated meals. Made some fantastic meals. My favorites are chili, shepherds pie and what I call “super ramen”. You can make some pretty awesome meals, you just have to play with the rehydration times. Some stuff is a bit difficult to fully rehydrate in freezer bags.

I prefer MREs. Heavier but taste way better:thumbsup: Some MREs have a dehydrated component.
