One question though, I was trying to put on my hi-lift jack and the wholes/bolts aren’t lining up right any suggestions or ways to fix it?

Sometimes the variables int he hi-lift (as there are so many brands and lengths, and even the same ones are not the "same")and the variables in the mounts are different. We have had very few instances of this before.

 

I could see that, but is there a way to fix it? Idk if there is a beaker or something I could add on that would work?

Typically that one hole needs to be opened up a little on the hi-lift main bar. Another option is selling the current one and buying one that does fit (you could hold it up to the rear of the truck) or trading for one that will fit.

 

Wouldn't "opening up" one of the holes affect the way the pins lock into the main bar thus making it more dangerous?

 

Not necessarily. We have seen it done before without issue. The only other option is a different hi-lift. Or cutting off and re welding the mount. We only see this happen every one out of 50 bumpers we do.

 

Yikes. What did you hit?! Is that an aluminum bumper?

Too much speed too much sand too much curve, too much rock

Zero damage to the engine and the frame, rock is now off the road...in several pieces

Not under my current fiscal situation.
I'm taking it to a shop that deals with straightening bent steel.
If he can't, then I paint it until $$ is flowing again.

Just wanted to show why it is a good thing to have.
