I went down there yesterday to pick up a new set for my FJ. ON the phone, on Tuesday, they said they close at 5. I check their business hours online yesterday, and it said they are open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. So i headed down there at 1 to find that they were closed. Been calling them ever since and no one answers =(. They have the cheapest HIDs and Ive never had any issues with their products but Ive been hearing shipping is a long time, and I want them now. Decisions Decisions...

even with all the complaints, people will still buy from them allowing them to do crappy buisiness. I ordered from them and recieved mine a week later, no complaints from me. Will I order from them again? depends on it I have 115 bucks to spend on one of slimcubby's GB's or not. I have a set of his HID and am pleased as well. I know atleast with him if I had problems it would be taken care of

I've ordered 2 kits from them and I have been nothing but UNHAPPY with the service I have received. Both of mine took a while to get here. The first kit I ordered, they sent me the wrong ballasts. I tried calling their customer service number many times with to answer at all. At that point I didnt worry about it anymore, I have heard horror stories about DDM before. When I decided to order my fogs, I tried call and e-mailing the company before i made the order. I wanted to make sure that everything I was going to order would work since I was going to be swapping parts. After calling a handful of times to a phone number that never got answered and sending a couple e-mails with no response, i gave up and just ordered my fog HIDs. On the order form there is a comment/concerns section that I filled out. I told them I had a problem with a previous order and I had some questions and my current order, left my e-mail AND phone number, and asked them to contact me. I'm still waiting on that call...

Yeah, I called them last week and told them they sent me the wrong ballast, and they said, "how do you know!?" i was like, ummm, "cause it says 35 watts on them!" He told me to use the customer service on their website and submit it through them that way. I just ate the $10 and kept them because they were for my fogs, and all the rep of 55w on the fogs....

On a plus note, I did get the headlights today! Installed without any issues at all!!! My buddy has the slim cubby HID kit and has nothing but problems with them. He also said that the DDM kit is A LOT nicer than the slim cubby kits, just FYI...

That's interesting there. It seems to be the opposite for most people that buy slims sets. I've always felt that way about his sets because 1) they seem somewhat expensive 2) he has never spoke of the brand of the lights, for all we know, they could be cheap egay lights packaged in a box.

I had the same problem with not recieving the lights. I ordered them 2 weeks ago and got them on Friday. Its hard to complain though for the price and its understandable that businesses get backordered. I put the lights in this weekend and man are they bright and look bitchin.

Does anybody else have the H4 hi/Low kit? Mine came with a shield that covers the bottom half of the bulb, making my headlights look stupid. Is there anything I can do?

Not necessarily stupid, but I don't like it. Only the top half of my headlights are lit up. In the pics you just posted of your kit, you have full headlight beams. I can take pics to clarify if that would help...

I just ordered some HIDs for my Hella 700ff conversion. Their site did say that they were backed up (on the bottom), but I hope I get them in soon. I'm in NorCal, so shipping shouldn't be that long.

I rarely have days where I can fit in modding, just hope they come in before that day. If not, it'll be a while before I can do the conversion and install.

This is necessary since the 2nd gen Tacomas' headlights are not designed for the HID application. If you look at other vehicles that do not use projectors with HIDs, you will also notice that only the top half is lit up (example: Lexus IS300). Without that shield, you would be blinding oncoming drivers. His picture "looks" like the whole reflector bowl is lit up because it is from a camera, not the human eye. The camera will make it appear so.
