That's a pretty sweet deal. I was looking at the $191 price and debating on trying my rattle can skills on it.

 

Actually, I have a spare grill and surround I picked up from @Daria before she moved, so may still try rattle cans first. Or maybe it's just the surround, can't remember...

haha, true. add your time and frustrations, plus materials, for a 50/50 potential outcome........

 

and I dont know if anyone is as OCD as me (kidding , we all are) if it aint dam near perfect, I hate it

I would try for 30-40 beans. I think you need to scuff, prime, paint several coats, wetsand between coats, and clear coat.

But then $300-$400 for the pro grill. I can't paint that!

 

yep, thats way too much.

I wish they come out with a second gen pro grill el cheapo, like the turd gens have, they need it more than we do though
