This is def true as you can get the HD springs with the kit...although Im going with the DMZ kit cause the rear just cant hang with the front.

Yeah I mean, I can still go fast enough to scare the shit out of myself and my passengers. I spend most my time on back roads and mountain roads and stuff. Not huge whoops all the time but man the front end really helped out. My rear pulls close to the same out front and I have about 6'' up travel. With big 35s aired down low it eats stuff up good. Wouldn't take it to the baja 1000 but it is still stupid fun to beat on.

The way I see it, Im going plenty fast enough i should have a cage now. So if im going to cage...might as well link..and engine cage. I have the plans in my head. But money and life stability..hell no :D haha

Yeah I think if i had a 2nd gen Id still go for the TC kit and a +2 LT kit. I think that would be the best all around combo setup for what I do(Long distance, forest service roads, technical crawling, hauling ass, Bit of everything). Again, Im not racing anything. Just like hauling ass on stuff people generally go very slow over. Wouldn't be the fastest setup in the world but sure would be fun. plus would kepp the width down, where as now i dont' have that big of an issue as my truck is narrower than a 2nd gen to start.

I am concerned my heavy truck still wouldn't work with the SUA HD pack. Based on what I have seen with other trucks running that kit I am a bit too heavy. So I either stay SOA or go on a diet.

Can always get a custom ordered pack. Just call up Deaver and say you have the TC kit but need some serious weight carrying. They will make them.

This gives me a good amount of confidence I will be plenty happy with it. I don't need to race it but I do have a variety of terrain and I like to go fast on occasion.

This is always an option...regardless I would see what Deaver can do before even making plans for a rear. The cool thing about the TC kit is you can buy it without the springs and stuff.

That being said, I plan to sell my kit in a month or two if you might have some interest. Granted I don't know what shipping to Utah might be on the springs.

I asked them about it a couple weeks ago. Originally asked about the U402 SOA set beefed up to carry some weight. Then I asked if they had a SUA pack that could carry the same weight and fit kits like the Total Chaos kit. They said no, it will just go flat. I wasn't real impressed with the customer service overall and maybe they misunderstood or were just having a crappy day and didn't feel like talking. :notsure: Usually I hear good things about TC.

I also know @sytfu510 was always trying to get more lift out of his DMZ kit reading through his thread. I am guessing that is one of the reasons why he is going with the Dirt Designs link kit.

I will keep it in mind. My current springs are pretty new so I would like to wear them out as much as I can for now.

I mean, there is no denying the SUA setups never last as long with lots of weight. Hell most race trucks only run 2 races on a pack. SOA sounds like the way to go. Plus if you spend some time with it, it'll ride pretty dang nice with some good shock tuning. Good enough to make you think about an engine cage thats for damn sure. Get some hydro bumps too will help a lot.

Yep, shock tuning is the big thing I am messing with in the rear right now. I made the mistake of getting smooth body shocks :frusty: Thinking I would never want to mess with the tuning a ton. Should have done bypasses. I have hydro bumps in, just need to shorten the stroke a little on them so they don't come into play so soon.

I do have resis. 2.5" diameter shocks as well so I have quite a bit of oil capacity.
