Like the old saying goes; "Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then".

With single digit temps, hearing that we have a "water leak" brings on full blown panic. One of our members finds me a few minutes ago and tells me we have water dripping into the gym. Oh NO! Slight drip, but water none the less. Pull out a ceiling tile and see a no-hub connector on a 4" drain line dripping. Requires a 1/4-turn with a screwdriver on a band clamp....problem solved. No idea why it was loose, but simple problems are the best kind. Back to doing nothing until 10 AM when I leave to go get new tires!

    WITAF?

Pictures of New tires, surprisingly enough, look just like OLD tires. (Just slightly more tread)

Tire tech snapped one lug. ( I carry spare) They ran out of balance weights. Had to go get more. Fat girl who didn't want to wait her turn got emotional. That was interesting.

Just got home. Now going to get a dirt bike. Just like last one I raced. Needs restoring. Already have 1.. Now I'll have 2. Wife is sure I'm nuts. I am.

Jeep buddy here in am to get old tires.

Tire store ordering 5th New one. I will have full size spare.

Up @ 0242. -3 degrees. Going in to work early so I can go home early. Plan on being back home by 0900. Another day of expiring frozen fire roads.

@fleckosaurus You've answered this question maybe 5 times already, but what brand/model is that roof rack you're sportin'? That's coming up soon on my priority list.

Yours has a nice clean look...Not overloading the cab. My 1st choice so far.

    The sequoia I just bought:

I snapped a lug trying to rotate the tires (way over torqued). Place I bought it replaced that one for free after I complained about the excessive torque. When I picked it up he said he torqued them all to 120. Actual torque spec is 80, i torque mine to 90.... this is why i dont let other people work on my vehicles

So... 14 straight days below freezing. Much of it single digit.

Hell to a chronic truck washer.

After we made it home yesterday, temp moved from 26 to 43 in a couple hours.

Sprint to car wash. Wash, dry, vacuum, clean windows.

Good, even if just a few hours.

Woke this morning to freezing rain, turning to rain.....and low 40's. Hwy crews dumping salt. @ work. 2 Dr appoint. Different sides of town.

Oh well. Clean for about 3 hours.

Let me sum up my day.

Last night I made a LOT of Sangria. I can't find ANY of it this morning.

But I know where it went!

    You didn't check the weather?

I passed 2 trucks, going the opposite direction, on my short stint of 52 in Ohio this morning. Both were spraying more of that crap down while it was raining/sleeting/snowing
