You all are weird up there in WA.

My point remains...he was not "distracted driving" in a manner that could could a fly let alone your friend. Thanks for the insight of WA's interpretation of that law, but it still doesn't give you any warrant for being so nasty. Just provide the info and be chill

A lot of state laws would beg to differ from you. In California for example, I know a guy who got a DUI for being passed out in his truck. Had a little too much to drink at the bar, went to his truck, put the keys in the ignition, and went to sleep in the drivers seat. The truck was off, parked in the lot, cops showed up because somebody called in an unconscious person behind the wheel. Still a DUI.

That's true. Even if the keys are with you in the car and not in the ignition they can charge you.

I ordered it through an online dealer because no one local could get it in time for a trip I needed it for. One web dealer had it in stock after calling to verify it was the new long bed version. Shipping was super fast and a local authorized dealer still installed it for a good price -$140

I have to disagree with you. Yes it sucks for the people who want to pass out in the car and have absolutely no intention of driving BUT there those people who get drunk and are in the car and in their inebriated state of mind have the instinct to start the car and drive. I don't know how laws for other states are but in Florida for DUI it states "within the state of Florida" which means you can be on your own private property and still land a DUI.

One lady got one on a Horse. And got animal cruelty.

Do yourself a favor and order an uca bolt for the passenger side. Just cut it off and reinstall it from the other side.

Thanks man. I haven’t driven it much cause I haven’t greased the fittings in the uca yet. But when I took it down the road, it was nice. The suspension absorbed the bumps much better

    going to be fun!
Not here to debate the law but Fl when arrested for DUI when sleeping in a Vehicle in Fl they have to prove you could be in “actual physical control” of the vehicle and that can be hard to prove. Case was dismissed over the States failure to prove that I couldn’t be in “actual physical control” when waking up with a BAC of .035% by the time they took blood from me seven hours later. State wanted a plea deal with reckless endangerment I said let’s go to trial. Did I get lucky who knows but the State failed to prove actual physical control under the influence or lack of under the influence under current FL law at the time. I should have never been arrested with a BAC of .035% but they tried to say when I got into the vehicle I was under the influence and that didn’t fly as they had no proof of when I got into the car.

This was Hillabrough County as well.
