    Hello everyone,

Not sure if I am posting this in the right section but I have searched all over and decided to just ask. I'm trying to find out the part number for the rail piece that is missing in the gen 3 tacomas. I want the tie down rail that goes on the front of the bed closest to the cab. On the 2nd gens there were 3 rails in the bed of the truck and now the 3rd gens only have the 2. Just wondering if anyone knows the part number, the Toyota tech had no idea what to look for.

Don't confuse the parts guy by telling him it's for a 3rd gen. :D

Thanks a lot. Just wondering if I need to order the bolts as well. I see them when I search for the rail but don’t know if they are longer or the same that is already on my truck.

Just reuse the existing bolts, no need to replace unless you strip them out. Make sure you have a T30 bit to remove the 5 bolts, then simply reinstall after you have added the rail.
