Pre-tune I was averaging around 19mpg on winter gas. Post-tune (less than 100 miles) is about 17.5mpg. OV's website is listing a programmer for all Toyota's and 1.03 tune.

I got consistently lower mps on 1.02c, around 18 instead of 19 to 20. Now I'm struggling to get above 15...like really struggling.

Much of that is likely to do with temperatures but those seem to hurt this tune much more than they did on the stock tune.

Dang, don't like hearing that, expect some loss, but that seems like a lot for the mild hp increase.

It's more for the drivability. It's clear that to eek out the MPG rating Toyota did, they really had to make this thing drive like shit.

I'm completely stock. MPG was one of my big disappointments with this truck...15-16 mpg with 75/25. Cty/hgwy (kinda made me wish I'd gone with the Tundra...that engine is a velvet sledgehammer...but the size...:( )....I replaced my CKP because that can cause poor mpg...no change...then bought tune and installed early last month (1.02c 87) I'm getting the same exact mileage...but now it's winter gas so I expect mpg has slightly improved on the tune.

Throttle response alone is worth the price of admission though. I don't expect this truck to make the torque necessary to drive the screwed up gear ratios these transmissions have the way I'd like it, but now at least with the tune the engine does what I tell it to with my right foot to the best of it's ability (which has also improved a bit by the tune). Fingers crossed that 1.03 can get some more mpg since OVtune said that was a goal for this release.

Look at the website. Says for 2018 he will release programming software for all Toyota’s. It also says the shipped tunes are 1.02c and 1.03. So 1.03 must be real close.

    In progress.... And getting better!
I was getting 15.5 average pretune. Now I’m at 17.5 with 1.02A 87 octane with less than 50 miles. I’ll check again once I burn through a tank. Drive ability is so much better.

I'm still getting 23mpg average on my start stop commute and general driving. Can easily see 27mpg+ at 75mph

Probably doesn't drive like a dick. I can get 18mpg on mine with 35s and full armor if I don't drive like an asshole, but I am an asshole and drive like one most of the time.

I'm typically around 18.5 to 21. Closer to 21 when I'm doing more highway miles. But usually more city driving than freeway I usually average about 19. Has been about the same with the tune(91a), if not better. Only been running the tune for about 500 min so we'll see, but I'm surprised to hear so many people with mpg in the 15 mpg area. I've never been near that number. I definitely don't drive like a grandma either, and I do like acceleration, but I don't always have my pedal to the floor.

Always had good MPG, had 32mpg before the tune at 70mph.

2WD and stock tires makes a big difference it seems. We don't have hills in Florida lol.

Oddly enough Toyota’s stock tune was designed for pretty much fuel economy and nothing else. While a tune usually sees fuel economy go up, it’s not uncommon for fuel economy to drop.
