Fair point, I had that dilemma too, but the MT won that battle.

Short notice, but if anyone is interested, @Arcticelf and I are headed out to Flagpole Knob this weekend to run some trails and camp. I plan to leave early Saturday from Suffolk and @Arcticelf is headed down from PA.

haha oh well... it is what it is.... that's the down side of dealing with Craigslist

that's exactly what the guy w/ the white topper said when I told him why that guy didnt pick it up for me... he cited a Dodge shortbed is 6' or something and a longbed is 8'

    apples to oranges.... oh well.

My F150 had an 8' bed. Great for hauling lumber or drywall, but a PITA to park. It had the turn radius of an 18 wheeler. And it was only a single cab.

I had a crew cab long bed f350 on 40s and I got boxed in at work and [literally] ran over a car monster truck style on accident

No worries, thanks. Great deal. Feel free to PM me if you have another set that size, I'm anxious to get rid of these stock Sport all-seasons for some A/Ts, but the rig piggy bank can't afford full price new tires yet...

2017 Sport MTSB owner here. Can confirm, I want a LB to use with a camper shell to make camping much more comfortable than sleeping in a tent, and a ton warmer in the Winter. Also would be better for my projects around the house/yard than my SB is now. Also if you get into offroading you may get into two-footing, which is way easier in an AT. You can do it in a MT, and I do, but it's much easier and smoother in an AT. Just my 2¢.

If someone totaled my truck, I'd replace it with a TRD OR AT LB. I really prefer driving my manual transmission, but an AT would be nice on the trails and probably in traffic. Meh. Also the hood scoop isn't worth it, trust me. (I think you can order a Sport hood with the hood scoop for like $600 if you really want one.)

    Too many to list...
Hell yeah - that's teamwork right there. Thanks!
Please let me know when it's available, much appreciated. Burst of warmer weather coming, might actually be able to get something done.

I dunno if I'd buy the TRD package again though, I think an SR5 package and spend the rest on a triple stick conversion. All the TRD suspension is going in the for-sale thread anyway...

I am always open to new job ops, especially if the hours are 9-5, and I have weekends off!

Do you still have to alternate between day and night shifts? Or was that just OT work?
