I think 8-4 or 9-3... take away your loss to Ark/A&M and Miami is a toss up. Otherwise I bet you're right.

I just say the loss to either Ark/A&M because they are both away games, and at that point LSU will have nothing to play for. A&M hasn't beaten LSU since joining the SEC so I feel it's their time.

I really think Miami rolls through LSU, though. LSU is losing tons to the NFL again, not yet announced but I'm sure Guice will, and the recruiting doesn't look great.

I graduated high school in 04 right during the Shula "red zone kick it" prime. I wasn't a student but was in Ttown almost every weekend during that time and it was just miserable! I do remember the Fran years very well also. Prolly one of my favorite games ever during all those years was when we had Joe Kines as interim head coach in the Independence Bowl game against Ok St. His half time interview was immediately internet gold!

I'll take Alabama any day over the cesspool of what Portland has become.

As far as football, the Ducks had another embarrassing bowl showing this year... Yes I'm a Ducks fan. :frusty:

    Leading rusher,
    Leading receiver,
    Leading passer & offensive MVP...

    All true freshmen.

Saw a funny tweet... "If I had a commercial for every time I heard the words 'true freshman,' I still wouldn't have as many commercials as they showed during the game."

lol that's accurate. I almost had to mute the announcers the same way I did the halftime show.

I lucked out at halftime... I was watching on YouTube TV (which I just got yesterday) and the ONLY issue i had the whole night was with the audio right at the end of the half. It went out just before they talked to Saban. I changed channels and came back, still out. I decided to give it a little time, so I switched to another ESPN network for the half and audio was back by the time I switched back for the start of the 2nd half. I got to miss the whole halftime show.

a lot of bad ass stuff
What an experience being at the game. They really do put together a phenomenal time for those who get to go and take it all in.

However I’m heartbroken and the realization of the lose is really starting to sink in. I’m proud to be a Bulldog and proud of the team for this season and last night. Those young men, coaches, and especially seniors shouldn’t hang their heads.
I do believe that UGA and Smart has set the foundation for great things to come. I’m not interested in hearing people say that Smart will be the next Saban or UGA the next Bama. I’m interested in us being us and becoming the standard and measuring stick in college football. Yes, I know that is what Bama and Saban is and I mean no discurredit to them. I’m interested in seeing UGA become who they can be and who we should have been for the longest time, with all of the talent that we have had and rising the standards even higher.
Keep your heads up high Dawg nation. It hurts like hell, but every Dawg has it day(s) and I and the Dawg nation believe they are coming down the road, under Coach Smart.

dude, yes. gets so old hearing Alabama fans and commentators alike saying that Bama is the "standard". Sorry, you may be your own standard but everybody is trying to be their own thing, they aren't trying to be Saban and Bama. Nobody that had success before this Alabama run said "we are the standard".

You are aware that Alabama didn't say they were the standard first? All of the "We want Bama" bullshit is what started it so you can aim that blame away from Bama. Bama (and most of its actual true and realistic fans) have more less had to embrace it rather than flaunt it. And please find another team that has had the success like Bama has over the time span of 5 National Championships over a 9 years, I'll wait....better yet I will even help you. The last time a team had even remote success like this in the time span was.....Alabama when they won 5 National Championships over a 16 year span. But, I will agree that other teams aren't trying to "BE" Bama...they are trying to BEAT Bama by being "like" Bama. The stereotype of Bama from other fans is just as old as other fans thoughts of Bama.

That is somewhat very surprising to me. I honestly saw him going somewhere like MIA to follow Richt.

Not really. He is from Washington and Leach is a good QB coach.

I thought he would of went to UCLA with Chip Kelly. He is a gun slinger and needs a high powered offense.
