No, I totally get that. I'm tired of the teams saying "they want bama", but embracing it is the issue, you see? I never said another team had the same success as bama, and I'm not trying to take anything away from them. What they've done is historic, but they aren't a standard. They haven't had an undefeated championship since 2009.

To me, going undefeated is what teams want to achieve, and going undefeated isn't "Bama".

But winning championships is what Bama is all about and that is what every team strives for.

Ah hell that's right, I had them mixed up, Fromm is the local kid. Eason should definitely excel out there with that kind of offense. Best of luck to the kid. He just got stuck in a rare situation.

It wasn't Bama last year though, it was Clemson.

You are right but it was them 5 of the last 9 years and 17 times. Everyone has an opinion. Best of luck to you and your team.

I get what you are saying Scotty, but like Moondog said, its about Championships rather than undefeated seasons. I think any fan for any team will easily take a 1-2 loss season every year even if it is to their rival from time to time if it brings them a National Championship each year.

And let’s not forget that we aren’t playing 10-11 game seasons anymore. 14-15 games is the norm if you make the playoffs. This makes it very difficult to win every game. We had one champion finish perfect in the NFL and that was the 14-0 72 Dolphins. That record stands to this day. Does this mean we have no standard in the NFL? Winning that many games is no easy task and we are still talking about kids/young men and not NFL teams.

What? The abysmal officiating has been discussed. That bullshit call negated a blocked punt putting us starting inside the 20 :notsure: at least 3 points seems kinda big...

I would like to point out, that it would have been a false start penalty which is a dead ball foul resulting in a replay of the down so the block still wouldn't have happened it would have just been a 5 yard swing the other way

I understand. I do. We were a bit upset with the illegal picks Clemson ran last year. This game was a terribly officiated game but it was bad both ways. Something has to be done about it too but the officiating was bad both ways. It would be impossible to say it cost either team in the end. But, we will never know. The future is bright for GA so I look to see you again soon.
