Three points are huge in the national championship game.

He wasn’t offsides. The ball was snapped when he crossed that line, albeit close, he wasn’t offsides.

Like I said last night, the calls definitely went Bama's way last night but that has never been the case. Prime example was the pic play Clemson won on last year. Last night the officiating was prolly one of the worst called high profile games I have ever watched though. Yes Bama benefited from them but Bama also wasn't the only team on the field that got away with calls.

I get that, I do really, but Alabama isn't winning them every year. The goal is win them every year, for every team. Going undefeated in the process is the best because you have no argument against you (like Auburn this year lol).

Alabama fans think they are the standard, and teams that "almost" win it all give that credit to bama as well. That's all I'm saying is the annoying part, even if you don't create that mindset you embrace it. you see?

this is correct, but you have to think of what the players hear. so the Georgia players block a punt but hear it's negated for offsides. they don't know that it was actually a flag that should've been called on bama for false start, so they hang their head for the screw up and that's a momentum killer.

I think of back in 2011 when LSU intercepted from Alabama on the goal line. Plenty of fans said that call cost the game, but then today they are saying 1 or 2 calls don't cost a game.

can anyone answer me as to why we didn't go for the endzone (or heck another 1st down even) on the last drive of regulation? there was almost a minute left in the game with 2 time outs and well our kicker is our kicker

lol I wondered the same. it felt like bama ran like 5 plays to get positioned correct for the kick only to miss it. like why the heck drive down the field so well to stop and count on a kick?

Risk turnover and give them a chance to get their stud (walk on/scholarship now) kicker a chance to win it for them. That kid had enough confidence and momentum going his way to kick a 60+ yarder to win it!

I thought several of his place kicks were gonna go through and I'm a lil shocked that his kick with the 15 yard penalty didn't make it to the end zone

He has the same amount of faith in our kickers as he does true freshmen. Take the good with the bad I suppose?

After Kick Six, you'd think he wouldn't have faith in any kicker... :notsure:
