I'm really pumped up about this little mini trip down!!

How many are planning to convoy down? I think i read that you and riz will be for sure, but i havent heard about the others.. maybe one guy in new braunfels? I think his name on here is travis5049 or something similar..

 

I'm not too sure my man. I think Riz may have to bail on Saturday

At least youre coming down! Youre due for an appearance at our CnC. Plus i need to check out your truck some more. Ive been considering getting some spindles and dakars more and more lately

Spindles are just so damn easy to get a good looking lift and clear 285s

I will keep an eye out for a set, they come up for sale every so often.

Only thing is, if they arent a local sale it may kill the deal because these things are HEAVY

Thanks brother! I've been keeping an eye out for a set in the SA area, but I haven't seen any pop up yet. I may just have to order some new in the end if I get impatient.. I'm not in a huge rush though, the 700s I've got on my truck right now are giving me 3.5 inches of lift and I don't have any preload on the coilovers. I'm thinking if I do go with spindles, ill just swap out the springs for some lighter ones and use the spindles for the height. Are you running any spacers out back to match up the track width since the maxtracs add .75" on each side?

 

When I still had these wheels I ran spacers in the rear because the wheels were so narrow



With the SCS wheels at 3.5 backspace and -38 offset....the spacers were just too much lol
