    In progress.... And getting better!
You get the whole package when you purchase the tune. 3 options each for 87 and 91 octane. Each octane level has 3 different shift patterns for the tranny. Basically you copy your stock ECU file and save it. Then you pick one of the 6 tune options and install that. This is based on what octane you are running. Definitely effects shifting for the better. Throttle response. Eliminates the rough idle too. Best part is that you can reflash the ECU prior to having the truck serviced and Toyota is none the wiser. Check out the website and read what they discovered when they went searching for the reason for the Tacoma’s issues. I say go for it!

Got a little work done today. Renogy 100 Watt panel up on the roof. His the controller under the passenger seat. This thing sure fits in nicely with the prinsu rack.

Oh you are going to love it! I am so glad I went with this over a cap like I had on my Tundra. Caps are great and I like them, I just happen to like this more.

    20170618_141007.jpg

I used the wider, thinner seal up front and the two foam blocks (it came with 4) and it is nearly 100% watertight. I bought some generic tailgate seal but still haven't installed it. I think when I do it will be completely watertight. Even if it's not the bed mat sits above the poly bed liner and any water is under it so whatever I have in the bed (like luggage etc) is safe. Also, leave the mounting nuts/bolts loose and unroll it into position, then pull it all the way back towards the tail. Then shut the tailgate and see if it pushes it back towards the cab. I did this a couple times to get the best location before finally tightening the hardware. There is a little stretch in the cover due to the fact that each rib has some play to allow it to roll so it seems it can be pulled and pushed a little. I wanted the seal on the underside of the cover to be tight against the tailgate when closed. Also, it's easier to get the final tightening of the hardware right if you keep it unrolled/closed and then just get up in the bed under it with a light. Also, make sure it is squared up before tightening so it unrolls and locks into the side tracks right.

I have used 303 Aerospace Protectant and I roll it up, get in the bed, and wipe it down as I unroll it. Takes 5 minutes.

Thanks for the quick tutorial! I will most certainly install it like that. I’m out of my office this morning, I WAS going to stay busy and look up the best way to install it...but you just saved me FOT (F Off Time) at work to actually be productive!

Stock until I save some more $$ for the lift. It was pretty close on the front and needed some trimming on the lower back portion of the fender. I imagine if I were to do anything off road as it is now, the tires would rub all crazy.

I really hate the look of light bars but have always had a sweet spot for the old school look.
    PERFECT execution as always!

Hey man, any time  I'm always glad to be able to give back on this forum. I take so much from here so often ya know. Yea, and that 303 Aerospace Protectant can be bought just about anywhere, even Walmart. I use it on leather too, in my other vehicle.

I am not a fan of the big light bars either. This is a good mix of modern tech with classic look. Tied in together really well. All finished now and looks better powdercoated
