Hey everyone, we’re going on a trip this week and I didn’t have time to order or make a mount for the jack, so I gathered some parts from a local hardware store and a cheap mount. It turned out ok, just thought I’d share.

I used a Cheap high lift mount from Tractor supply, 4- 1/4” well nuts for lower feet and 4 HD 1” fender washers to mount to the bed rail. All other hardware came from mount kit. Total cost was $39.05, including a bag of original beef jerky!

    Tools needed:
    3/4 wrench
    7/16 socket and ratchet
7/16 open ended wrench for holding backup on the locknut inside the bed rail.

    Parts needed:
    Jack mount kit
    1” 1/4” HD fender washers x4
    1/4” well nut x4

    Bag of jerky optional...

Edit to add: after following the instructions, the included carriage bolt that holds the jack had some play when installed using only the supplied lock washer... to remedy this I added a 3/4 lock washer under the supplied lock washer to take up the slack and it’s rock solid. Highly recommend doing this. I also slightly bent the securing bracket a bit to get more thread engagement on the wing nut, but probably would have been fine.

Let us know how it holds up. I'm in need of a rack for my Hi-Lift and 40 bucks sounds like a steal.

Thanks y’all, I’ll update after this trip to the trails. It worked out nice, fits under bed cover and is about flush with the fender well so it’s pretty low profile.

I looked at it on the Tractor Supply Website and they only want $21.99 for it. Think I'm going to pick one up the next time I'm out.

Correct the mount itself is $21.99, the rubber feet were $1.43 each and the heavy duty washers were about .50 each. And finally a bag of delicious jerky for a mid-mod snack for $4.99 round out the total cost. The mount took a total of about an hour in Tractor supply, the hardware store and installing it.

This might just solve my problem of mounting my Hi-lift because my bed extender gets in the way. Great find!!! Oh, where'd you get those rubber feet?

The 'Rubber feet" as i called them are actually called "well nuts", you should be able to find them at an Ace hardware or other hardware store in the nuts and bolts section.

I've got some aluminum knobs waiting at home, fresh from Amazon... to get rid of the wing nuts. I'll post picks when i get home.

I'm using one for my Hi-Lift and then I am going to modify the other kit for axe and shovel mounting. I've used the mounts from 4xinnovations before, but these were just $22 and I think I can make them work.

Sweet, I was going to try and use another set to mount some other gear as well here soon. Post your results!

That is what I was thinking too. Axe on the flat part, shovel on the lower section.

Would there be room for something behind the brackets? Hard to tell how much space is actually in there.

For anyone interested, I got these knobs on Amazon and they are SOOOO much better than the wing nuts supplied with the kit. Installed them tonight.
