Still debating if I wanna go management later in my career. They get free cars but I'm not the best at being sensitive to the needs of others.

    Late the the party.

Have you looked at the local hackerspace (hive 13)? They have access to a lot of interesting tools and the dues are fairly reasonable. You wouldn't be able to pull a tuck in, but if you are interested in some of the other things that they do (welding, wood working, cnc machines, etc) then it is a space to look at.

You can show up to the Tuesday meetings and see what the place is all about and figure out if it would be something you would want to buy into. You can also find out if you will be able to get along with the people there as well.

I checked it out once, and they do have access to some tools that I would really like to work with (CNC machine, laser cutter, welding room and some lathes), but I can't seem to find the time to make it to the meetings or to trek over there regularly.

Well, they get free Hondas, a ridgeline wouldn't be much more capable offroad than my XR is lol.

My other truck is a 2008 Ridgeline. Great for what it is, roomy, but agreed, not capable. There is no aftermarket off road parts for it either which drove me nuts.

@Jibbs invited me to the party from another thread so I'll introduce myself. I love just north of Kings Island in Lebanon. I joined a few months ago after I bought a new '17 SR5 AC. I used to have a '03 SR5 extended cab until some girl thought that texting instead of driving was a good idea and totaled it (along with my popup camper) without insurance. :annoyed: I enjoy TW a lot and don't know how I didn't join earlier. Anyhew, thanks for the invite. :rockband:

    Welcome aboard.

Myself and @mwc273 are basically neighbors in the Colerain area, @presta24 is in Reading, we have a few in Forest Park, and some others that I just don't know.

This thread is also frequented by a couple Columbus guys, some Indiana, and some yayhoos from kentucky.

Speaking of Forest Park, @Lt_Dan was that you checking out my sexy ass end going down 4 the other day? If not I waved at some random taco owner lol

Honda was the worst job I've ever had. They can keep the car and the money. I'd rather enjoy what I do!

I enjoy what I do now, but it would have to be extra special nice to get me over to salary and in a company car. I'd rather they just take over payments on my truck, but I'll take care of the maintenance and etc, with about $15k more total in my pocket.
I have not gotten a raise so far :anonymous:

    Pass.

It was discussed that we're starting an "on call" thing for weekends. Will be paid for those days, then increased if I actually have to come into work/answer my cell on the weekend.
My boss knows where I stand. Rather have the money over the company car. I don't want no damn GMC Canyon or Sierra!
