You are referring to the CPS which technically is an engine issue. However the problem was easily and un-intrusively rectified. No reason to believe after that there are going to be problems. I mean it's all personal perception. If you think that is alarming that is perfectly reasonable but none of these recalls are GM level in nefariousness.

It obviously was an issue if they issued a recall for it. I do remember seeing people complaining on here and other places about their Tacomas stalling randomly. Stalling in the wrong place and wrong time can be extremely dangerous. You may think this isn't serious. But people stalling out on a highway or somewhere in blistering cold temperatures probably disagree with you.

You’re full of it. Read a few threads, most people on here purchase tacos below MSRP. Mine was over 3k under and that’s not even close to the best deal I’ve seen on here.

Also, $500 below on a PRO is a good deal. Most have a huge markup.

Lastly, your logic is flawed regarding your comparisons on depreciation and future valuation. No crystal ball is needed. History shows the trend and Chevy’s “new” Colorado will not change that in any impactful manner.

You’re in the wrong place for this type of “discussion” or in your case just a baseless argument.

TLDR: Buy a ridgeline and stay off the internet.

$500 below on a Pro is a joke. It's the same damn truck as the TRD OR anyways lmfao.

And no, trying to compare 2 trucks in 2018 in the same way you compare 2 trucks from 2005 makes 0 sense at all. Things change. The markets have changed, the companies have changed and the vehicles have changed.

And this is the exact right place to discuss things like this. Just because you and some other snowflakes get offended if anyone says anything negative about your trucks doesn't mean these things shouldn't be talked about.

How about I cut off your engine in your vehicle while you're driving down the highway or in 10 degree temps 100 miles from your home. How long until you start worrying in those situations? And equating serious concerns to "being afraid of everything" is laughable.

How long you want to go back and forth with petty nonsense? You have anything of value to bring to this debate?

I’m in - degree temps. Not sweating it. No offense. I mean you can be scared of things, I don’t hold it against you. I just think you could be LESS afraid. That’s all. LESS.

It isn't being afraid kid. You aren't sweating it because your vehicle is working. You would be sweating it if it wasn't and the temps started dropping. You act all tough and brave behind your computer in front of your internet buddies. See what happens when you actually face deadly situations.

It's the same with a 2 inch lift and different badges. I can do that myself for $1000 or less. You want to pay $4000 more and you get $500 off and call it a good deal.

Dang, if I didn't have a Taco like you say, the hell if I would be spending all the time in here and probably other countless boards like you do trying to convince everyone you are right. I've got better things to do actually.
Reminds me of someone we use to know.
