I did chevy 63s with small Toyota leaf and a longer wagoneer leaf and am at a 24.5-25" frame height. Ride well and flex really well.

The mini truck ones don’t. They sell Tacoma specific packs that do though. @slander has them and might be able to tell you how much height you get out of a given leaf pack from them

I gotcha. I just don’t want to go crazy doing 63’s and mounts and everything when I’m only going to be running leafs in the rear for about a year after the truck is running. Just need to find a leaf pack that has decent flex and will get the truck level.

All pro expos use the factory mounts and I never measured the height. 255/85s had a bunch of room and I had to hack the fenders up to fit 37s if that helps at all. I took 2 leafs out and recently added 2 back in on the driver's side because it sagged after 6yrs. Took 2 leafs out because I don't carry 2000lbs of wheeling flare in the bed when I wheel.

Fwiw I have a bit of a bro/trophy truck rake with flat front leafs and a shackle that sits damn near flat at ride height.

I’ll be running 43’s but have a 1” body lift already and will be cutting fender like crazy. I’ll have to make new shackles and will be running a slight leaf block.

Thinking about just running my stock leafs with new shackles and a block....??

Arched leafs (properly designed) will have more travel. A block is asking for wrap especially with 43s. I would consider that a temporary solution.

Chevy 63s work pretty well and usually aren’t too hard to find. Spring mounts aren’t all that difficult, especially if you buy brackets from ruffstuff or similar.

You are planning on links eventually?

The stock 3.4 wraps like crazy with stock rear springs, I can only imagine with a diesel, 43s and lift blocks! Take video of the first time you stand on it!

Yeah planning on 4 link after get the engine and front suspension bugs worked out when it gets moving.
Just trying to get something to work well for cheap for a year or so after it’s running.

Axle wrap won’t be an issue. Will be doing a simple temporary track bar to get that under control because your definitely right. I don’t have the video but I made a video with the 3.4 and how much axle wrap it had and now my 4bt would destroy stuff if I let it move much.

I got the smaller PSC pulley as well and a big ass reservoir mounted higher than the pump.

Have not been able to get rid off 100% of the noise. Hoses are not bent, system has been properly bled several times. Are these pump noisy or could it be that I have some issues with mine?

With 40"s it feels - to me - that I can steer with one finger though :D

I mounted my resi directly to the pump, with only one 45" fitting. From the research I did, this was the absolute best way with the least amount of restrictions. I have really only driven it on the road so far and a little in the yard with it locked in 4wd so I guess I just need some real wheeling time to see if I notice a difference then...

Probably. Haven’t made any of those decisions yet. Not really ready to chop it up yet, but at $800 for the set, I couldn’t say no

LHD steering arm if you’re trying to stay on a budget.

That’s better than what I’ve got with 2 90* fittings
