Exactly. After you had talked about it before, I built one. I just rebuilt it and it's 56K. Granted, it doesn't have the LED lights, but turbo diesel with a stick?! Sign me up!

My duratracs are rock solid in the snow and ice as well. I haven't heard of side wall issues, I'll have to be careful. Ive had mine load range Cs up against a lot of sticks and sharp mulch and havent had a problem. I would have went with Es but they are heavier and if my truck rode any rougher I would need new vertebra

Really, I've been happy with my ko2s. When did the enh fall crawl last fall it was pouring rain, decent amount of mud and slick leaves on top of all the rocks and I went wherever the wheel was pointed with no fuss.

And I think they're pretty damn good in the snow.

Friend at the gym just picked up a Brandy new F-one-fitty FX4 platinum king can w/5.0 coyote . It's pretty damn nice and has more electronic shit than the space shuttle. Pretty damn quick as is. Fucking expensive as hell though.

No complaints on wet, Rocky, rot slop filled trails ther good in that department. But compacted snow traction and braking lacks.

New trails in RI there was 18 or so inches, all they wanted to do was dig or slide in off camber .

They must have retuned the 5.0 in the new models. They keep pushing more power out of them. The new 5.0 will give the 3.5 ecoboost a run for it's money where as my model year 5.0 would be pretty effectively spanked the ecoboost. Brand new Platinum though, I bet that thing has a sticker north of $70k

Ya it's nice. He's also 35 and doesn't have a wife/ kids and a good job so he can pretty much do what he wants. Also has a zl1 camaro that's modded for summer tire wrecking fun. And a baller property with a few acres, enough space to shoot,3 bay garage with fitness cult gym.

Basically what I would be doing if I wasn't married/ had Giblets

All depends on how they’re used. We put our tires through their paces on the rocks. I have some gouges in the Coopers that would certainly have killed the Duratracs.

The Duratracs were better for normal, on road, snow driving though. No doubt.

those coopers are a good looking tire. by the sound of your thread i take it you had duratracs in the past and they were a little better in the snow? Am i understanding you correctly?

I think compacted snow performance is pretty good personally.

The deep snow I can see issues as they don't have super aggressive tread blocks.

I never had the Duratracs off road. My truck was still quite stockish when I had them. They were great in the snow though.

My duratracs have yet to let me down. They’re honestly the perfect tire for New England

Your truck looks awesome btw. I've been wanting rock sliders and bumpers just like yours for my 1st gen for years now, not only for looks but peace of mind in the tight stuff.

No - forced air, but if the electricity goes out, the heat rises anyway.

I actually passed on a free pellet stove w/ the slate surround & exhaust flues. Too many years of moving 4 tons of pellets into the basement, then up to the stove, then out to the ash can.
