Not at the moment, but who knows what they'll do next to move product. The rebates and discounts over the past year have been wild. I mean, it made me upgrade to a bigger safe and pick up a couple new tools for the toolbox lat year.

The last several years they've offered the rebate on the Shields right around Christmas, I didn't see it this year but maybe I missed it.
I'm sure they will offer another one later this year.

Jimbo Kahr is great pistol but, spare mags in the pocket suck. The mags when pocket carried, self unload in your pocket. It was very comman for my Kahr 9mm mags to shed two or three rounds in a few hours. My Glocks, Third Gen Smiths and Beretta's never lost rounds when spare mags carried weak side front pants pocket.

If the 1" width is true I really don't see how it can be a double stack except if the frame is stupid thin.
Remember most companies measure thickness at the widest point (safety, mag release, slide release) and the meat of the gun is normally thinner.

It’s a hybrid double stack. Honestly who knows if this will be as great as I can hope. It is innovative though and seems like a perfect edc.

My kahr p9 has an awful trigger , needed two trips back to kahr for issues and no shop in my area wants it even on consignment, at any price. Going to post it on calguns.

I run +2 extensions on my carry guns. With the 9mm Shield that equates to 10+1 and 10. With the G19 that would be 19+1 and 19...

Going shopping for a Savage Axis II XP .223 today, anybody want to try to talk me out of it? If all I want to do is non-competitively kill paper and steel I can't think of anything else worth buying, but I'm open to suggestions.

Take a look at Ruger Americans, they are well made for a budget rifle. Our 30-06 is a good shooter.

I've handled one, and the extra $100 doesn't seem evident. I've not shot one though, are they worth that much more?

    Agree @taco2010trd
Most Savage rifles have huge longer trigger take up what they call the first stage trigger it’s a turn down for me.

the axis 1.0 had a rebate that ended 12/31 but you could find them with a scope (crap scope I'm sure) for $279 with a $100 rebate, timney makes a trigger for them for $100 and you can get a spring kit for <$20 so you could have got into a pretty decent gun with a great trigger for $300 plus tax after rebate a month ago, but that accu-trigger I assume is pretty good (I shoot a Mossberg with their mid fin trigger and it's pretty phenomenal compared to what I grew up on)

Near me, the Savage runs 380 compared to 485 on the American.

I've heard that the Accutrigger is worth twice what they charge for it so I'm really keen on it if I can get a decent price for one. Missing that rebate sucked.

The Ruger American trigger is decent and you can adjust it down to 3lbs. The mid fin trigger style isn't my favorite but it isn't bad in the Ruger.

yeah that's the big deal on the Mossberg "lighting bolt action" is its adjustable with just an allen wrench from "2-7 lbs" but mine came from the factory at the lightest and that is where it still is. it took me nearly a box of ammo to get used to it coming from a ruger mark II that was somewhere around 5lb I guess and had a bit more take up it seems (from the actual trigger not the fin of course) a trigger makes a huge difference once you get use to it
