I've seen them decently priced at Harbor Freight too but I don't know how well they'd hold up...should probably just make the jump to an on-board air system.

Went to get an alignment today and its not very good news.

Spindle on the passenger side is bent.
They think the LCA may also be bent and bushings are worn on both driver and passenger side LCAs.
Rack and pinion bushings are worn.

LCA bushings being worn out probably explains the clunk I was getting for the past few months when I would hit a bump while turning.

bolts moving is normal. when i put the rack back in a couple weeks ago. I was a couple teeth off on the steering shaft. I wiped the mark off by accident when we removed it. Probably just one or 2 teeth off.

Not entirely sure the passenger side LCA is bent but I don't really want to take any chances.

    The spindle/knuckle is definitely bent.

I also figure if the whole front end is being torn apart to replace the spindle/knuckle then may as well do the rest now just to make sure its all good.

I would do spindle gussets at the very least. That may have saved my headache.
