This phone has the same spec's as Google's Nexus One and has a much faster processor than the Droid. It also has an 8mp camera and 2 flash bulbs. Not entirely sold on the funky design on the back but that will probably be covered up with a cover - once they come out.

Anyway, I just pre-ordered mine and should have it by April 29th. This will be my first smartphone and I am pretty damn excited. I would've liked an iPhone but there is no end in sight to AT&T's monopoly on that. Google said they would deliver the Nexus One to Verizon in "Spring 2010" but Summer will be here before we know it and still no announcement.

    Alas...the HTC Incredible:

When Verizon actually has the iPhone then I will believe it...Until then im not betting any money on them actually getting it.
Its Verizons loss b/c they actually had first shot at the iPhone but passed thinking it would never catch on...but the iPhone is what believe it keeping AT&T afloat...

You could be waiting a looong time. Verizon's been talking about getting the iphone for 2 years now. They also said they were getting the nexus one "this spring".

I'm not falling for Apple's crap. I bought an HP laptop, Dell desktop, Zune mp3 player and an HTC Incredible = anti apple.

Great find Bob. I keep googling "verizon nexus one" so that I don't miss the opportunity to get the N1 over the inc. The more research I do, the more confident I am that the Inc. would be the right choice if I had it. I've read a lot about the issues the N1 has with multitouch. I didn't understand it until now. Thanks.

Preordered Mine as well. You missed one major point about the Incredible vs N1 argument. The Incredible comes with the famous HTC Sense UI. They have even made some big improvements in it over previous versions. Engadget even said it was better than the Iphone OS. That's a big deal, cause the Engadget people are some serious Apple Fanboys. It also has 8GB of internal storage as well as the micro SD slot.

I think it's a sick phone, but I'm going to wait for the Motorola Droid 2. I don't use it a whole lot, but I do like the physical keyboard.

I also think Google is doing a little much with their phones... They are going too fast. No one can keep up

Actually its not that they thought it wouldn't catch on. The reason they didn't take it is because apple wanted too much of the margin made on the Plan revenue. Apple takes a larger chunk of AT&T's revenue than most phone manufacturers typically take. Plus when you do business with apple, Apple's attitude is "we're doing you a favor by letting you sell our products"

The Problem with the Verizon / Apple situation is you have two people with their arms crossed sitting across the table from one another who aren't willing to budge on their terms. AT&T jumped in bc they knew that was the only way they could compete with verizon especially after all the coverage verizon gained with the pending alltel purchase (now complete)

The qwarty keyboard on the Droid Incredible is supposed to work VERY well. There are some videos on youtube of guys testing them and you can get pretty quick with it.

Here are is a video that showcases the power of this phone:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzlFlK-1dNY

And you can wait and wait and wait on that Verizon iPhone...but no one knows how long. Could be next month, could be never.

The physical keyboard on my motorola droid kicks ass! It's much better than touchscreens (and I've had several).

It works well for throwing at people to knock them out. It can also be used as a dumbell

Nope not at all. Verizon has all the Google interest. Let AT&T have Apple to compete with. Because Crackberrys arent going to keep up...

Are you kidding me? AT&T already has a phone actually made by GOOGLE - the Nexus One. It is nearly identical to the HTC Incredible (different camera and user interface). Verizon does not have the Nexus One. They ONLY have the Motorola Droid and the HTC Incredible.

AT&T ALSO has the iphone. Seems like someone else needs to share their toys.
