@LTDSC what is the best way to clean OEM leather? My back seats have some black marks from the kids car seats and I don’t want to mess up the seats using the wrong cleaning materials.

All this talk about the compressor to the 7 way i got under my wagon over the weekend and inspected my wiring. I am going to move my 7 way plug a little higher as it has some scrapes from when we went to the rubicon. But apparently Toyota (or my vehicle) has a specific plug and harness that is being used and i couldnt separate it at the plug end. So i had to unplug the harness and now going to extend the wiring to suit my needs with a new 7 way end and plate. I am also going to throw in another in line fuse to the power line even though the power wire to the compressor has one. Once finished it will be completely hidden and easy for me to access for tire inflation. I have checked the other wiring and its all 14AWG all the way back so this should be plenty.

Im glad whoever mentioned this idea because my alligator clips for the Viar comp are too small for my battery terminals anyway.

back to a few days ago on wire safety.
motor loads should be oversized on wire size for the reason that if the motor fails, the amp draw will go straight to max available from source ie battery so avg of 500+amps, so for that split sec it takes for your fuse to heat up and blow, the wire should be able to handle that split sec in time. adding more fuses doesn't speed up that process. and if the wire is to small it becomes the weak point and will burn up before the fuse dose.
so at min. run the proper size if not 1 size higher. now with DC you really need to add length of run in because of voltage drop as well.
if non of this makes since, I tried.

So basically if I hook L1 to my left nut and a neutral to the right, then I should be good?

    I’m about to try it.

I agree with Jason. Running an 8 gauge wire to the back and installing the flush mount trolling motor plug would be a really easy task.

An even easier option would be to put ring terminals on the connector leads and running them directly to the battery/ ground. Then obviously put the other connector on the compressor. Both sides have covers that have a stainless steel cable leash. They even have crimp connectors installed. You would still have to pop the hood, but I would do that way before wiring a 7 pin connector to the compressor and running it through an undersized wire.
