There are Nash reissues as well but like Andy @orezona said above^the prices for the deck/board along are rediculous. And to build a complete,LMAO!
Miss those days of building a complete board for $60-$70.And back then that was considered in my opinion through the roof.

Funny how some shop team decks were sturdier or stronger than the big industry manufacturers one’s.When the OG manufactures got big again and back into the mix the quality of decks/boards were cheap at the beginning.I remember purchasing a reissue Santa Cruz”Rob Roskopp”of the first target design board and snapping the tail off from just doing a stand still ollie.

Man seeing all these boards really brings back some memories. I remember reading the little CCS catalogs for hours on end and being super stoked when new ones came out. I had a Tony Hawk mini if i remember correctly. It was the one with the hawk skull on top of the cross. I had pink bones wheels (tall ones) and thought i was cool as shit. This was back in the early 90's. I never was really very good but my buddies and i would skate all over our little town.

    EDIT: This was the board.

Yeah i had the very first two OG ones.Maybe it was just me but those were on the heavier side weight wise compared to other Santa Cruz boards at the time and so strong.

You can still put together a full set up for less than $75... if you use a shop deck, the cheapest shittiest bearings, blank wheels and whatever trucks that are on sale, haha!

The interesting thing is that prices for skateboarding hardware have changed very little over the last 25-30 years. A regular deck back in 1996 cost $49.99 from CCS (before they got bought by Footlocker) and pro decks are still basically the same price. I know that back in the 80's decks were less than 40 bucks but a 10 dollar increase over 30 years and an industry that has significantly grown is pretty nuts.

Pretty much why shops have never made any money off decks, just soft goods like shoes and shit. I'd never open a skate shop unless I was independently wealthy and wanted to do it as a "hobby", because there is almost zero money in it. A very good buddy of mine has owned the only skateshop in my hometown on the Oregon Coast for 20+ years and he's finally getting out... to be a full time fishing guide, LOL.

The main thing behind my comment is the re-issues are expensive. The Natas reissues I got were all about 75 bucks I think each but now all of them are going for $99.
I have the Tony Hawk Powell reissue that I think new cost $89. I didn't used to collect decks but had a few that were either ones from my friend's companies they gifted me or a couple that I actually designed. I wanted to get the original Matt Hensley "vista pole" graphic H-STREET deck but they were going for way too much on ebay or I'd get cart sniped on auctions. Gave up and bought a C&D deck... until T-Mag decided to do reissues and I got the first variation they released. Now there's like 6 of the same graphic and I have zero need to collect those. Matt's deck was the very first "Pro" deck I had as a kid and I skated the fuck out of it. Eventually and shamefully destroyed that deck on purpose including shooting it with my .22...! Even worn that thing would have been worth more than what I made my parents pay for it, possibly.

LOL, mall "skate shops" are just clothing stores, with a little corner in the back for a few decks and other shit, usually logo decks by Element or Plan B or some other brand that I could give a shit about these days. I'll go into them when they have sales on shoes, that's about it.
