    Like I said...

I can neither confirm nor deny what I voted for... or if I have changed that vote in the last 5 minutes.

If only I wasn't on weekend shift and wasn't still in the break in mileage for the rear...

Are you not going because you can't, or because it's Plano?

    My top three brands.

    Smittybilt
    Warn
    Superwinch

A 10k would be good enough...

I want a Smittybilt X20-10k winch and I know a few people run Smittybilts here.

Yep, the Smittybilt X20 is a pretty good all around one to be honest.

There used to be a deal on one here on the website.

@Zac of all trades I think got it... or was it @Jamart5

Wireless is neat until it fails. Wireless with a wired backup is OK.

I run the Smitty x20-10k Comp. Does what its supposed to do. I havent used it much but I have had the control box brackets break within a year. Smitty has good CS and I shouldnt have a problem getting it replaced. If money wasnt a factor I probably would have bought a Warn but I think it was something like 2x the price.

It was @Zac of all trades. Cant remember the site he went through. I found the best price right on smitty's website from Morris 4x4 last winter/spring(reg price now).

True... I noticed when I watched the latest Ultimate Adventure... no one really had a wireless winch... everyone pretty much had the wired in controller.

Not hard to run the controller into the cab to winch.

    Found the thread.

Looks like the deal is still active.

I'd research a bit, there's a ton of brands, and a ton of options. If you are leaning Warn, they offer products manufactured overseas, or US built. The US built ones are a tad more expensive, but are most likely worth it.

Edit: I've heard good things about @ComeUp , MileMarker.

That is why you do maintenance checks on your gear before you go wheel!
    The X2O 10k comes with a wired/wireless remote.
