    I love that stuff, but like Brian said, it'd be pretty messy for what you were suggesting and I'm not convinced it would do what you want either. It's a great light lubricant and corrosion inhibitor, but I'm doubtful that it would prevent stains or make cleaning mud off any easier. Most likely the mud would just soak it up like floor-dry.
