    A few inches from water going in at my parent's house...they got lucky we built it on a slight hill...only house without water in it in neighborhood. Lucky I was in Baytown when storm hit. Still took me 3 days to get out of the Houston area.
    90% of that area was under(at least) 4 inches of water.

    How did ya'll do?

    Damn that is lucky. I was in Rockport like a week before it hit, they got shat on there though. I live next to I45 and I10 which act like giant retention ponds so no trouble whatsoever. Although my parents drove out to their friends house in my dads Subaru, then about an hour and a half after they got there his alarm started going off. He went out expecting someone to have hit it but instead it was floating! The water went up to the middle of his door. This was after it receded.
