Thanks, just need to order my pigtail. Had it installed in my Tundra, and then my 4Runner, and now will be in my Tacoma. I keep buying pigtails for it LOL. Maybe this will be the last one.

I just did this recently. Pry the very top first. After it pops out, there is another insert that has screws in the back that holds the cubbyhole.

On the subject of white pickups, around my neck of the woods we have as many pickups on the road as we do cars. I like white, the '11 Tundra I had was a white one and I liked how it looked, but by the time I decided to trade it and get the Tacoma, I was past ready for a change. Every work truck around here it white. A lot of personal ones are too. I'd say that if half of the vehicles in the area are pickups, that at least half of those are white. No thanks. I originally thought I wanted a Quicksand Tacoma, and do still like that color a lot, but the dealership offered me a better deal on the Inferno (they'd have had to do a dealer swap to get the Quicksand with the features I wanted) and I decided I liked it and that's the way I went. No regrets.

Me too! Only changes so far are a bed cover and the removal of the Predator steps. I'll probably go with a slider of some sort.

Welcome to the forum and the best damn Tacoma color thread there is! :hattip:

Funny, you took the Predators off and I am looking for someone to trade me for my OEM tube steps, or trying to buy a pair cheap. You should look in the For Sale threads, I know I saw some sliders in there recently. @Mobtown Offroad makes some great ones and a guy is parting with a set but he is over here in souther Pennsylvania. Likely a little far to ship to you. But I am sure I saw something recently over there in Texas for sale.

Hey everyone! It's been a while! I don't get on mu computer much these days, so most of my Tacoma obsession is filled on the Facebook pages, but I need to get going again on TW! I've even made a small business out of making custom center console covers for our trucks!

I was unaware of such a bar when I did my 30" light bar. I mounted it to the aluminum bar behind the bumper with pretty good results. I've been happy with its performance.

The one I have in my truck is a fully upholstered lid. The covers I make and ship out attach to the inside walls of the console by adhesive Velcro so that they don't move and the fitment is tight.

Oh Cool. So you removed yours to do that? Are those Classio covers or did you make those too?

Yes, I removed, added foam, then upholstered it. And I also did my seats too, yes. I'll be doing a full upholstery job on them later this year.
