    Hi everyone,

I would like to apologize for the lack of response that I have had on these forums lately. I would like to introduce myself. I am a customer service/media person for Winjet Inc. I was formerly posting on this forum with my personal account replying to people that were having issues with our lights on their vehicle. I have since recently opened this account so I may be able to post in a more professional manner. With the creation of this new account, I also wanted to start a thread where everyone could discuss any comments, concerns or questions regarding our lights.

For anyone that is new to our lights, I have attached a quick video that was posted on our Instagram showing a quick sample of the operation of our lights.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJ1RETJAxJs

One of the biggest issues that we have had was people blowing the STOP 10A fuse in their engine bay fuse box and the 7.5A Tail fuse inside the cabin. For the most part, these issues were resolved when the tail lights connectors were installed in the proper orientation. I have attached a video of the installation of the lights here. Please pay special attention to 1:44 and 1:49 of the video for images of how the connectors should be installed.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sOfGd38Nu8

The second issue we were having with the lights was people were having frequency issues when their lights were installed on their trucks and listening to some FM radio stations. We have been working very hard on figuring out a solution to this issue. We are glad to announce that we have figured out the issue, as well as the solution. When customers installed a ferrite coil inside their lights, the issue gets resolved. If you are having these issues with our lights, please feel free to contact me here or also by email at CS@winjetinc.com so that we can have the ferrite coils sent out to you. I have also attached a video showing how these ferrite coils can be installed.

If you would like to purchase a set of lights direct from a e-commerce site,

    www.i1motor.com
    www.Tacomabeast.com
    www.carid.com
    www.protuninglab.com

Are all great retailers that currently have the Tacoma lights in stock.

And for anyone that would like to see videos of our upcoming and present lights, our youtube link is: www.Youtube.com/WinjetInc
If you guys have any ideas of new videos you would like to see, please feel free to also let me know.

If anyone is local to the Los Angeles area, we would also love to work something out with people to possibly to a video/photo shoot of your truck for promotional purposes.

Thank you all for your time.
    -Jeff

I am no longer working at Winjet any more. I have since moved on to another company (now doing suspension currently running a special on Fox coilovers www.ShockSurplus.com). But I will check in on this thread (whenever I remember) to try and help any one out or guide anyone on steps on how to get issues resolved. Or you can also feel free to shoot me a PM.

    Thank you

    Hey Jeff,
Wanted to post on the thread how I thought what you were doing was really stand up. I am an older guy that has has worked jobs in the past that were face to face with the customer so excellent customer service was required. In this day and age I see less and less of that. You Sir have shown me that it's not dead. I congratulate and commend you.

I really think too since you have the bugs worked out that this mod just became a possible future mod for me. My truck is new and as I said I am old so I can only invest my money in things I can depend on.

    Jeff,

Are the new light assemblies being shipped with the ferrite coils and possibly labels on the wiring connectors?

    Thanks,

    Jay

Looks good but your video is very hard to watch. Smoother cuts would be nice, I didn't make it to the end.

Thank you for the comment. Video production quality is going to make a big step up this year. I'm currently looking around for another Tacoma with our lights that I can record a video with.

Thank you for posting. Whenever you're ready to get a set of lights please feel free to post here or send me a message so I can point you in the right direction to some of our trusted retailers.

Is there a direct link to purchase these or do I just google Winjet tails and purchase them from any sites that come up?

    Hey Kalvin,

Thanks for the post. Lets go wheeling some time. I'd love to be able to make some type of a video of our lights on a truck in its natural habitat. You'll be able to keep the video for yourself also.

They offer 3 styles, got them in 3 days from order, but just checked their site and they are sold out. I like them, good quality as good as OEM Pros that I had, in my opinion.
