As an owner of an '03 Tacoma, I was wondering if Toyota ever offered these wheels as an option? I think they look pretty clean and I am thinking of getting a set. I notice that there is a Toyota dealership that offers them. Also, the best price I have seen is about $198 a piece. Does anyone know any better place to buy them?

    Thanks,
    Curt

They are great wheels. I paid $198 at a local dealership I think thats a good deal for this set. Get them and paint them!

Seems like a good price. Not big on painting them though.

Toyota parts people has them for 187 each:

    http://toyotapartspeople.com/Search...Spoke,+Silver+w/+Machined+Lip,+Off-Road+Style

Which is about the best price I've seen anywhere.

These are the only wheels for our trucks in 16x8 with less than 5" backspacing that don't look like ass (chrome or black, ridiculous spoke patterns). Thank God TRD understands that elegance is preferable over flashy complexity.

I will own a set myself in the not too distant future...

Thanks for the replies. The only question is, did Toyota ever offer them as an option or upgrade for a 1st generation?

I think I am getting a set. Seems like the best price is Toyota Parts People. A little under $800 isn't bad.

I think I am going to give the local dealerships a call first though. Maybe I can save on shipping? Might as well give them a chance. I need floor mats as well.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Just be careful getting the old batch of I.S. wheels...they had problems with clearcoat chipping...

I wish the centers weren't painted and the whole wheel was machined, but I guess we don't have much to chose from unless you want to run 22's and look good in the hood. I am too old for that stuff.
