    I'm new here and this is my first ever Tacoma so I don't know a whole lot about them , I have a 2018 tacoma TRD off road double cab short box so my question is ....Is my truck considered a SR5 or no??

    When you said it was a "TRD OffRoad" that precluded it from being an SR5. SR5/TRD Sport/TRD OffRoad/Limited/TRD Pro are the trims.

    All the things!
    While I agree with what everyone says above, I believe your title and VIN will still show it as a SR5. The "TRD Off-Road" is considered a version of the SR5. Similarly, an BMW M3 is still a 3-series BMW.

    My son has a 2003 SR5 TRD OFF ROAD so thats why I was wondering if mine was one.

    There was a time when TRD off road was a package for more of a base model truck (what your son has). Tundras are still trimmed this way (Limited or SR5 with the TRD Off-road package).

    No you're an off road which is a sr5 with upgrades which makes it an off road not an sr5.
