Most recently I installed the SDHQ dual light bar brackets and rigged up 2 6in amber lights for the SR5 grille! Looks super clean and really proud of how it turned out.

Haven't posted in a while, but some minor changes to the truck. Added some Voodoo Fabrications bedbars that I got off of Overland Market! Really good priced and could not pass it up. Took a trip up to Big Bear, CA and the truck performed very well! 2wd FTW!!! Carried at least 300-400lbs (with the RTT) and truck did awesome. Hit 50k miles and the truck is still holding up strong. I may need to get that rear suspension in soon though.

Nice looking truck. The relocation and cross brace looks really clean. I'm looking at a similar route, got a couple questions for you

-I see you're planning to go to DMZ spring under. How do you feel about the U402s and the relocate? Do you know what kind of up travel you are getting with the u402s? Are the 285/75s into the fenders before the springs bottom out?
    - Did you drive the truck on the 285/75s at all before regearing?

The U402's and relocation is a great setup if you plan on carrying a lot of weight. Right now I am currently sitting at 8.5in of travel in the rear which I believe is 1.5 over stock. (I don't remember the oem #'s). With the Deaver U402's there are 3 stages to that leafpack in which you choose how much weight you are going to carry. My whole plan for the rear was to match with my 4in maxtrac spindle up front so I needed to compensate it for the rear by doing a 3in lift of a leafspring. The current setup is good for what it is, but personally I knew after my first trip that I am going to need more travel. Honestly am thinking about ditching this current relocation setup. I know I can achieve at least 14in of travel because I know a buddy of mine runs a DMZ with a relocation and 12's.

The "phase" when I did the 285/75, maxtrac spindles, and deaver U402's was all to be planned with a regear of 4.88's and an ARB locker. Soooo, for the week that I didn't have the gears in, I was able to experience what everyone was talking about. The truck did seem slugish trying to hunt for gears and was very high in the rpms, but honestly I didn't find it that bad. I have a 42mile commute to school (round trip) all flat freeway and it was fine for that reason. Anytime I did get pissed off I just turned on my pedal commander and just didn't care about MPG's anymore.

Word. I have a +2 front (I'm 4x4) ordered and I'm trying to decide what to do about the rear. I'd like to do the DMZ SUA too but I do some towing with the truck and I've heard SUA squats quite a bit. Your friend tow with his at all? Also looks like you need glass bedsides (or quite a bit of cutting) to make use of the additional up travel.

I don't know about him towing at all. I don't believe he does. I know there was some chat for a bit on the LT BS thread about towing. Personally, I don't tow with the truck, neither do I have anything to tow. So thats why I am doing the DMZ SUA. My current dilemma rn is I love the stock body of the truck, but I have seen some guys able to do a DMZ SUA with stock bedsides. I know one guy for sure but he's no longer on TW anymore. thats why I am contemplating on +2 or 3.5. Fiberglass is badass at the end of the day but being lowkey and have LT is just cleannn in my opinion. I think either way I am going to do fiberglass but we will have to seen when it comes to that decision day.

N-fab tire carrier. Going to probably reconfigure the strap setup to a y-strap instead of the single across the middle. I can already see it shifting when driving. Really happy with it though so far
