The PDF directions from SSO really need to be updated. Perhaps for their future costumers they can make a step by step install video. They should also provide a cutting template (perhaps a sticker?) because there blue painters tape directions in the pdf would have created unexceptable gaps. With that said I used 1” painters tape as a cutting guide like they recommended and followed the lines of the plastic insert. Across the top this works really well. On the sides and bottom no so much. You will need to do a bit of finessing here to get it perfect.

On the side (with a sharpie) he has it moved in about a 1/4 inch. In addition I would drop the bottom down about another 1/4 inch from this pic... error on leaving more plastic and you will be just fine as the bumper cover flexes.

I also found it easier to keep the bumper on the truck vs removing it. The dirtections say to remove it... I don’t see a real advantage to removing it. Probably snap off a ton of tabs in the process as well

Thanks for the info! I didn't know you had to go all the way up into the painted section. Sounds like I'll cut way less than what I need and fine tune it as needed.

One more quick question, how'd u wire your winch? Straight to the batt w a fuse in-between?

Can someone confirm that a Warn Zeon 10S will fit without relocating the control pack?

    Thanks in advance

    Still waiting for it
    Yes
    Search for my install thread

It will work, but you have to trim out a bumper cover support. Totally not a big deal.

Thanks, good to know it fits. I may just relocate the pack up into the engine bay.

    Thanks again
