Damn! Believe me, I know the pain. Granted that your first successful shot with a bow is a HUGE deal and much harder to accomplish than a rifle shot is, but I had been following my dad through whitetail country since I was like 5-6 years old. I think that incident occurred when I was 14 so it was my fourth year actually being able to hunt. I wanted that deer like nothing else I'd ever wanted in my life and when he told me it was down... well you can imagine my excitement. The disappointment of losing it like that was unbelievable. I know how you must have felt.

When I shot my deer this past season we sat there, watching through our binoc's, for at least 15 minutes after the last movement to make good and damn sure he wasn't going to stand back up and lead us on a merry chase. I never want to go through that shit again man!

We were talking about a trail from camp at redfield that goes through to Benson. I'm talking casabel rd to Wilcox. I won't be going to redfield. I'm setting the cams near Edgar canyon

    Cascabel. Haha
And yes, cascabel rd dumps out in Benson which isn't far from Wilcox so I guess it may be doable as long as I just set the cams and leave. It can be hard for me not to get distracted though. If I see quail I may be running around the desert for hours!! Lol

Check this out. From cascabel you can go east to wilcox, I'd like to check this cabin out too someday. But yes, we did talk about Redfield going out to the 10, if it does than it must cross this as well

Lol I saw that and wondered who the fuck he is. That's on the other side if the river I believe, up off ocotillo rd that comes out of Benson. It goes up the river pretty far with several turns west towards the back side of the Rincons. I like back sides...

Mine won't be but that doesn't mean yours shouldn't. Typically, the women are welcome to come along and have a great time but most guys leave the kids at home because these camp outs tend to turn into desert parties full of shenanigans and debauchery. Having said that, bringing the family is totally up to you and your comfort level of what you want your kids to be exposed to. A bunch of adults sitting around a camp fire and getting royally shit faced don't usually remember to watch their language or conversation content because there are children present, but if you're comfortable with the possibility of them hearing adults talking about adult shit and behaving badly then bring them along. It's your decision as a parent bro, but I don't think anybody would be upset about having youngsters around. Just my 2¢. I brought my older daughter along on a few trail runs but never on one of the camp outs. They can get a bit wild.

On another note, I just threw down some $$ on Amazon to do a semi onboard water set up on my truck. I was wasting way too much water trying to wash down game and wash blood off my hands so I decided it was worth the money. I'll post pics to show you guys how it turns out.

Are you going to use pressurized water jugs or abs? Or you going for a small pump system?
