    I don't know the exact year of this van, but I do know that it is a 1994 or newer because it has the 6.5L diesel V8. This is not a 146" wheelbase model, but rather a shorter 125" wheelbase model. Also not that it says CHEVY VAN 20 instead of SPORTVAN. I am just realizing now that this might actually be a cargo van with the full-body window package, and not a passenger van...

    Either way, this is an example of a diesel-powered G30...

    @Iamraiderpower

    This probably the roughest G-series van I've ever seen, and I would like to begin by saying that I did in fact get permission from the owner to take pictures...

    If it weren't so damn rusty, I would consider this van a Holy Grail!

    It is a 1986 G30 Beauville, 125" wheelbase, with a 350 4-barrel under the hood. This engine is unique, because according to the owner it can safely be run on leaded gasoline. 1986 was the last year for carburetors in these vans, and thus the last year they were capable of running on leaded fuel.

    This van is fully loaded, with power everything, dual A/C, and a factory Delco AM/FM cassette. The A/C was not operational at the time the pictures were taken, according to the owner, but I believe he said all important parts were still there and it could be made operational with a recharge. The one option this van did not have that I wish it did, was the G80 locking rear diff...

    As cool as this van is, it is proof that New Jersey is backwards. They eliminated annual safety inspections in 2010, but kept the emissions testing. The result? Clean air and no smog, but roads full of death traps! It should have been the other way around! The owner told me that this van passes emissions with flying colors, but that it probably would not pass safety inspection in Pennsylvania due to the rust...

    I'm pretty sure this one is a 1998, because it has a "third door" on the passenger side. However, this one has a blue interior, not red...

    As you can tell, I've got an impressive collection of truck photos. Believe it or not, most of the ones NOT taken at car shows were taken with permission of the vehicle owner...

    That's probably why some people have gotten so pissed off at me for taking pictures of their vehicles...

    They're late on their payments and think I am either the repo man or someone who works for the repo man!

    Ironically, I have pictures of a repo truck!

    The newer pictures were taken at the now-defunct weekly cruise night at Shady Brook Farm. Yes, I actually had permission to take pictures! I went to college with this guy whose dad owns a repo company, and since he worked for his dad, he regularly drove one of the tow trucks!

    Oh yeah, I think it's a wagon. I've got pictures of that floating around somewhere as well. I don't think the owner lives in town anymore though...

    @Iamraiderpower

    You say you like square bodies?

    How about a Labrador in a square body?

    I took this picture in the parking lot of the grocery store in January 2016...

    Obviously, I did not just walk up to some perfect stranger's truck with their dog in it and start snapping away...

    A dog in a vehicle is often more dangerous than the owner of said vehicle!

    I knew the guy whose truck it was and he let me take all the pictures I wanted!
