You were the guy that bought one? I rode the Sumo version and man, it shook the ever living crap out of me. I had fun but dang, that was a wild one.

That was me. That model wasn't around long. Two or three years. But I liked the bike. I was not a very experienced rider so went with something that wouldn't entice me to go crazy. 53 HP single cylinder. Plus off road capable. I commuted with it for a year between Oakland and Point Richmond. Saved me a half hour on the way home, splitting lanes. Then I got transferred to the Martinez site. Commute was so much easier, I stopped riding. Got a real good price for it because it was garaged the entire time, and low miles. It's a sweet bike, actually. Just not mine any more.

Got it off eBay but came from a 05 tundra and same part number. It’s installed so just need it programmed to get the light off the dash.

Totally would but guy wants to pick it up Friday. Plus gas in that beast would probably be the same haha. Although I don’t get to see you of course....

There’s a lot to like about them. Just surprised they didn’t sell well. Even the newer F800GS is a great bike. Those that own them love them. We’ll see if the 850 does any better.

Yeah, not looking forward to the snow upkeep but look forward to the trees. Looking around Twain Harte for now because we’re up there all the time anyways visiting FIL and BIL. Snow tends to be minimal from what I’ve seen over the past 5 years or so.

Green Dog Brewery? Is that the one that will be next to the Bourbon Barrel? Looking forward to it if so, that way I can take shots of whiskey while my SO gets tanked off some brewskis . Look forward to meeting up with some local TW people in the future.

Totally yes. The filter did a great job!
I'd be looking elsewhere for mouse chewed shit. Happened to me about $65000 worth last fall.

Right after I bought the bike the F800GS was released. I was bummed. It looked like everything I wanted. Took it out for a test ride. Just didn’t fit me right. Plus, BMW wouldn’t give me squat for my bike. Mines was an ‘08. In 2009 they dropped the price by a thousand, completely screwing my resale value. Subtle changes on ‘09 I didn’t like. Guess I wasn’t the only one as the model was discontinued shortly thereafter. Plus, most folks wanted the 650 twin. I liked my one lunger. Ah, no more bikes for me.

Hell yeah brother! That's not a bad box, but the connectors look super cheap, but for low amp stuff it should work great.

I would change the relay connectors first, and use 10ga for the 30A stuff.

I may have tweaked a few things...
Do winches normally come with a good line (new)? If you have no current use for it I would take it for future use. That way if I come across a good *used* deal I could replace the line with this new one.

Pardon my ignorance I haven't done any winch research yet but I'm about to have a legit mount so it's only a matter of time...
