    I feed my Beagle/ Lab mix Purina Pro plan mixed with cooked chicken or cooked chicken livers carrots and rice. He is 8 now and still can give my Daughters 5 month old German Shepard puppy a run down.

    Went to Acana Meadowlands when they changed the formulas. Previously fed be Ranchlands. Every now and then (2-3 months) I'll alternate with one of the other 3 regional formulas. No issues with making that change. A bag lasts a month, so it works out nice.

    The Vet told me my Dog, after all the tests came back clear that my (Lab/Beagle mix) needs to gain 5 to10 pounds. She said to feed him just a cheap brand, 1/2 can of wet food mixed with his dry food (Purina Pro Plan) twice a day. Any body got any suggestions on can food or a favorite type food your Dog likes.

    Note: My Dog is 8 years old never stops running and can run my Daughters 5 month old German Shepard pup until She drops. I think my Dog is just running off all his Food. but he is on the thin side.

    blue buffalo for mine. she was on pro plan but I thought she was beginning to have an allergy to it so I switched her up. 1 cup in the am and 1 cup in the pm.

    Well, my guys try to follow me whenever I want to leave the property, so I give them each one can of Pedigree Choice Cuts in Gravy mixed with some of the dry Iams, and while they are scarfing that down, I "make my escape".

    I watched an interesting documentary "Pet Fooled" on the corner cutting and marketing advertisement issues within the pet food industry.. they made a compelling argument to switch to a raw diet but that's $$$$

    We're feeding our pooch: Natural Balance, the Lamb Meal flavor
