    That looks like it would work. Difference between that and the Rallylights harness used in the thread, is the Rallylights harness has ceramic connectors to prevent possible melting and the ground is full length to return to the battery where as on that the grounds at stubbed out near the bulb for ‘local grounding’.

    Getting this http://sportsautotech.com/shop/sock...-9005-hb3-hb4-ceramic-male-to-female-sockets/ with the wiring harness and extending the ground to the battery will complete this wiring harness for the mod?

    Another question crash, does the ground really have to go all the way back to the negative terminal?

    Those will cover you for the ceramic ends, and all looks good on being the same 12 gauge to have no bottle necks in the harness.

    The wiring does not have to go all the way back to the terminal. Local grounds will work. For a good ground it will need to be grounded to an unpainted surface, if there isn’t one within range of the short ground wire, you will need to sand off some paint for ground contact, or extend the ground wire to reach a better location.

    I think im going to. Asked them about the length and haven't heard from then for a few days now. I have no wiring skills at all but willing to try it. Can you make me a rough diagram for the harness? 4pin relay or 5pin? Wire lengths pls to take the guess work out. Haha

    14awg wont be enough? What kind of wires did you use? 12awg silicone are so expensive.

    Will you be able to tell the difference in output between the 12 and 14?

    The reason im wanting to go with 14 gauge is that i have access to 14 gauge wire at work.

    I looked at using 14 gauge wire but after running it through a voltage drop calculator changed my mind. If I was doing it I wanted to get lowest voltage drop I could.

    It was, but I can not remember the exact numbers. I had 14 on hand and ordered 12 because of the numbers.

    This is what I ordered. You can order a smaller quantity than the 100' roll that I did. I also did a run to the back of the truck for 12 VDC outlet.
