Hood/roof. What did they quote you for hood and sides? Do you mean front quarter panels?

Rain can be a rather big issue I had a winch catch fire in the rain because water pooled under the solenoid caused it to short out.

I didn't take the picture I was in class when it happened, but being in a parking lot full of high schoolers it was the first thought for most of them to take pictures first.

Don’t feel like making a thread on this so maybe some of yall can help me out. My 2011 prerunner has 110k, and this past week ive noticed my truck is having trouble shifting around 30mph at 1800-2000rpm. The truck starts to shake as well as the gas pedal and then shifts after a few seconds. Any idea what could cause this? I need to do an oil change this weekend, but could the transmission fluid cause that? I havent changed the ATF since i got the truck (98k) and dont know if the previous owner ever did.

Anyone have a detailer they trust, even better if they're in the N. Dallas side of things. Would like to get the truck exterior buffed/waxed to get it cleaned up for getting dirty again in the coming year.

He's high on the hood, might shop around.

I know a guy, he normally does exotics, and high end cars. He's a little pricey, but does really good work. I'm going to get him to do my truck at some point, I can get you a price if you want.

Might as well. Truck is overall in good shape (once I actually wash it), but there some adhesive residue from debadging the tailgate and the bedsides I want to get sorted as well as some light scratches from the AZ trails before I put the new bedside decals I have on this spring. There was a guy on here advertising doing work on his spare time on the weekends, tried to get my truck in with him for several weeks late last year but he had a family emergency come up and never heard back from him so looking for a plan-B.

Yeah, I'm kinda cringing at the thought of just how "different"

Ha! That's a funny joke. I'll stick with staying single since the caliber of guys I've come across since moving here ain't really been up to par.

I plan on making it out, just need to know the final destination & what time. How many you got locked in?

I take blame for this one on never getting back with you. I know excuses are never a good thing, but had the family issues and my other partner who I worked with bought my share of the detailing business. Didn’t like the direction he was going in regards to quantity served over quality and couldn’t take it. I have most products still, but he did get the ozone machine and my mytee vac which just kills me.

Again I’m sorry, but hopefully we can work something out.

I don't have a 2nd gen but from what you are saying it sounds like it might be a misfire. Start with the easy stuff first if you don't want to take it in somewhere.

No worries man, I know life can throw you curve balls that sometimes force some things to fall through the cracks. No harm, no hard feelings at all. I'll shoot you a PM, suspect what I need is still well within your abilities.
