    AMP Powerstep, UC Flex, bed lights, Opt7 Tailgate bar, black tailgate lettering Pending: re-configure tail light,s custom storage pocket bags, pinch weld painting, blackout badges, ......
    For a spacer/support you may want to use aluminum 1" channel. Probably open side toward the box and bolted with a couple counter sink screws so it is smooth on the truck side.

    That way the bolt hold to the utility channel and the 1x between your box and the rail help prevent any sagging or spacing issues. Might consider 3 bolts/nuts per side to carry the load of tools etc in the box.
